Max found out there were a couple of spots left on a local boat for the Titans of Maverick’s contest that was just called the day before. We nabbed them and headed to HMB for the day taking the day off work. The boat didn’t get quite close enough and we had to circle the buoys along with the other boats but it was still incredible to see in person. The wave was huge in the distance and the surfers were just little dots out in the lineup. The boat ride was pretty awesome too. Got some better shots with the Canon lens but have to go through those when I have time. Stoked!
