Looked innocent enough but turned out to be crazy jumbly and a lot bigger than it looked with big ol’ steep waves not breaking until right on the sand. Sketchy! Quite a work out too, with nonstop paddling over waves that were crossing up, or the few times it broke on the outside and everyone got cleaned up. Didn’t get any waves. Max said he didn’t see anyone get a ride while he was hanging out in the Jeep. After the last two weeks since Max’s trip to the ER, we were both just stoked to be at the beach. Grateful that everything is on track to being ok again. Great to be in the water again.
