Today was just as small as yesterday and a bit weaker making it harder to catch waves on my 8′. Probably should’ve been out there on a 10′ but I’m enamored with the agility of my board and thought, whatever, got some fun, small ones yesterday. Today was a bit more challenging, but I got a few fun ones where I was just at the tiniest peak, paddled a few times, popped up and caught it. Other times, it was more paddle like a maniac, avoid all the other surfers on the inside, try to catch the wave but it was so small and not breaking, still paddling. Whew. Pretty tiring trying to catch all those little waves! Max had more luck with his 10′ rental and caught a bunch. I had one ride where I just stayed knee-crouched to keep the wave going and went right for a while. Fun. Sunny and warmer today too.
