Wow, yesterday was quite a workout. Slept like a rock but it was still hard to get up this morning. Sleeeeep. Still wanted to avoid the crowds and got up and out to the break by 10am. When we approached it looked like there were some nice waves coming through but when we paddled out, there were some long lulls and the waves didn’t have much force (even though it’s supposed to be 11s). Nonetheless, got a few really fun, pretty long rides and so did Max, who’s enjoying his 9’6 Bonga rental. Decided to go get a big lunch afterwards and relax in the afternoon. Also saw a baby honu in the water while surfing. So cute.
