Woke up late to more swell. Lineups all over that we haven’t seen, all the way to the horizon. There’s a high surf advisory for the south shore until Wed evening. We ate too big of a breakfast and had to walk it off so we didn’t get out until the late afternoon, but that turned out to be pretty great. At one point Max and I were the only ones on the far outside, watching big sets roll through, look like they would break but steep up and keep rolling almost all the way in before BAM, crashing onto the inner reef and shooting spray everywhere. Impressive. I got two inside waves before sitting outside. After we moved back towards the left tower, I got a sweet outside left that took me all the way in. Steep drop and offshore spray in turquoise water. Amazing. At the end, caught one in between the towers and came zipping in. Max got a couple of fun ones too. Should be a bit more swell tomorrow. Can’t wait.
